Julie Taylor has a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours obtained from Australian National University on 9 May 1984.
Family Law Specialist
She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria on 7 November 1984. Initially, Julie practised criminal law and family law. The Law Institute of Victoria introduced accredited specialisation for solicitors specialising in family law, with the first year of accreditation being 1989. Julie undertook the applicable examination, passed the necessary criteria in November 1990, and has maintained specialist accreditation since. Julie is also on the Victoria Legal Aid Independent Children's Lawyers panel.

Ms Randella Barnes has been an integral part of the team since joining us in April 2019.
Ms Barnes was admitted to practice in 1988, has practised exclusively in Family Law for 25 years, and is a graduate of Melbourne University.

Lyn started her legal career as a 16-year-old junior secretary in a law firm. Lyn has been with Julie for 16 years and is Julie’s Personal Assistant as well as Office Manager. Lyn specialises in PEXA property settlements.
